I saw this on American Pickers,, History Channel..
If you aren't familiar with this show, it's about a couple
of guys from Iowa who travel around looking for collectables to sell in their resale shops..
History
Channel-we usually dvr it and watch it.. it's kinda interesting to see how many people have so much stuff they've collected..
anyway...
current episode, called 'The Einstein Gamble'... is probably viewable if you have the history channel...
at about
the 35 minute mark, they're looking at one of those gymnastic pommel horses that you see in the olympics that some guy
says belonged to Robert Dinero and was used in the "Raging Bull" movie..... and... up pops a couple graphic information
screens saying the horse was invented by a German fella named "Friedrich Jahn" ... who is called the 'father of gymnastics' etc.
etc. back in 18 hundred something or other. etc, etc,,
Here's a couple camera shots off the tv screen.
